The Gaiya Family

(Nigeria)

Musa and Pamela Gaiya are long term missionaries serving with Mission Africa (formerly known as Qua Iboe Fellowship). They live in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. Musa is professor of Church History at the University of Jos. He is ordained in the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) and is also one of the church’s Trustees of which there are ten. He has a busy schedule and values your prayers for God’s wisdom and strength.

Pamela works with Africa Christian Textbooks. With God’s help ACTS is forging ahead to being Africa’s leading distributor, publisher and trainer, in theological books and biblical resources, through a well-proven network, logistics and dedicated staff. Pamela is currently involved with the task of inventory management. This is a vital and essential role to ACTS. Pamela values your prayers for the Lord’s enablement and encouragement. Together Musa and Pamela assist with Mission Africa’s pastoral and practical aspects of the field (Nigeria). Their daughter Gracie is 15 years old and attends Hillcrest school in Jos.

The Smith Family

(Moldova)

The Smiths are members of the congregation at Stranmillis and are currently missionaries with UFM in Moldova. Ben and Esther work with a Moldovan ministry called Casa Mea, that seeks to bring the Good News of Jesus, and practical care, to those who are isolated and have suffered tremendous abuse because of disability.

Many people with disabilities are living in state institutions with little to no access to the Gospel. Casa Mea seeks to reach those people through regular evangelistic outreach. They also run 5 community homes for adults with disabilities – each one linked with a local church and providing care and meaningful occupation to 4-6 adults. Ben is involved in a number of different aspects of the work including staff training, overseeing care and doing Bible studies in these homes. Ben and Esther have three children, Reuben, Simeon and Eden. Like all missionaries, the Smiths rely on your prayers so please do not hesitate to contact them if you would like to partner with them on this journey and hold the ropes for them in prayer. Andrew, Eunice & Joy Moody

(Uganda & South Sudan)

Andrew and Eunice Moody have watched the situation in South Sudan develop for several years and have felt burdened about the state of the Church there.

They live in Uganda and, from that base, serve South Sudanese pastors both through trips into South Sudan and by ministering in the large Ugandan refugee camps. Many South Sudanese Christians and Christian leaders are currently living in Uganda, where there are around one million South Sudanese refugees. Andrew runs preacher’s training courses in the camps and Eunice, a trained nurse, serves at a local health centre.

Andrew and Eunice have one daughter: Joy.

C&J

(South East Asia)

C and J, with their two children, work among one of the largest unreached groups in South East Asia.

J is a healthcare professional and serves women and children through education around pregnancy and childbirth. C works with a missional business that employs dozens of local young people and disciples them as they work together in the office, while helping to lay the foundations for the future work as this country is new to SIM. Please pray for C&J and their family, as they reach out with the hope of Jesus.
