Stranmillis Easter Outreach
We had a number of opportunities to reach out with the good news of the gospel in Stranmillis EPC over the Easter holidays. Our Outreach Team distributed 2,000 evangelistic leaflets in the Upper Stranmillis area, with a simple explanation of the gospel. We thank God for great weather to make this possible. Thankfully, only one person declined the leaflet, and we’re praying that God will speak to all those who received the simple message of the Gospel.
On Good Friday, we met with a number of local churches for a joint service entitled ‘Together at the Cross’. It was a joy to reflect on Christ’s work as we sang praise, read Scriptures focussed on Calvary, and heard an epilogue from Pastor Steve Auld (Great Victoria Street Baptist) together. We were encouraged to see a great number present, including contacts from our student work & other ministries. Please join us in praying that God would speak to those who don’t know him, who heard the Gospel.
Before our Morning Service on Easter Sunday, we gathered for our traditional Easter Sunday breakfast! This was a wonderful time of fellowship & thanksgiving (as well as brilliant food!), and we were so thankful to the catering team led by Rachel Brockbank, who made it possible. It was thrilling to have a family connected to our Mums & Tots work present at our Morning Service, as well as a number of other unbelievers.
We give thanks for these opportunities and are praying that God will use the Word shared on each occasion.
